These spots scattered throughout the city are a joke for the following reasons.

1.There is no way to qualify whether or not a car uses alternative fuel or not. A normal looking car could have been modified for E85 or Biofuel.

2. Several individuals support the notion of owning a hybrid, yet cannot afford one. This creates a class-ist preference structure more than it does reward green thinking.

3. It comes off a bit snooty. Seriously.
