Was at Farmers Mkt tonight and my kid witnessed plenty of alcohol consumption in Central Park, asked me what that "skunk smell" of marijuana was, and a transient urinating in the creek. All from a group of transients who littered and intimidated folks. Seriously? How can we tolerate this in our great city? Suggest a greater police presence, or at least some security/safety patrols that can enforce laws. Look at other cities' business improvement districts (BIDs) for ideas and revenue sources.
