As a teacher at CSU I could have my students design posters to promote restoring the site and then to promote a new, refurbished, clean, new civic area once it's accomplished. These promotional items will help attract the numbers of people to events, which in turn will generate money and justify the investment to improve it, operate, patrol and maintain it.
