I use the civic area in two ways, as a destination (farmer's market, holiday event etc) usually walking or on my bike and would like to see a nice, large bike parking area or cyclists to secure their bikes, and as a pass through on my way to highway 36 on longer ride out to Hygiene or Lyons. As there is no bike lane on Broadway pass the hill (roughly Arapahoe to Iris) I usually ride13th across or detour onto Folsom to Jay road as the civic area is a bit of a no man's land the bike path dumps into. I'd like to see a proper bike lane or multi-use pathway through the area.
