Until the homelessness population who loiter in this area in material numbers is addressed, no other uses or ideas mean much. People will not go there for recreation or "community" regardless of future offerings. Myself, and most other people I talk to, simply do not feel safe and find the area and its inhabitants unpleasant to be around.

Until a policy is put into place that deals with the transients at this location, i do not support spending any municipal resources on programming and/or redeveloping this area.
