  • Recycling and Waste Reduction
In 2006 Boulder adopted a Zero Waste Resolution and the five-year Master Plan for Waste Reduction, which provided a roadmap to achieving 85% waste diversion from the landfill by 2017. The plan included infrastructure, policy and programmatic needs. While much of the plan has been realized, the updated (and re-named) Zero Waste Master Plan will detail what initiatives are still needed and which the community has prioritized to reach our goal. We’re looking for your thoughts on how to improve recycling, composting and reuse in Boulder.
